- Pain around the base of the thumb or web space of the thumb
- Any recurrent clicks, clunks or snaps in the hand
- Pain on gripping activities
- Pain on flexion or extension of the wrist
- Pain on weight bearing through the hand
- Reduced dexterity in the hand
- Pins and needles in the palm of the hand
