Text messages reminders are sent out 24 hours before the appointment and are recorded on our system. If you need to cancel, alter or move your appointment please do so on receiving the message. Any missed, cancelled, moved or altered appointment with less than 24 hours notice will be charged at 75% of the full fee. This needs to be paid prior to your next appointment.
Block (Group) Bookings: If you have paid for a block (group) of physiotherapy sessions and miss or change your appointment with less than 24 hours, this will be taken as one of your pre-paid sessions.
We want to make our policy as clear as possible as it can be upsetting when people miss or need to change an appointment, often because of genuine and stressful reasons. We have this policy to protect the livelihoods of our team who may not get paid when an appointment is not kept, as is common in healthcare provision. Should ill health or misfortune affect your ability to attend we hope you will graciously accept our policy. By doing so, it helps to ensure that the clinic can continue to provide care for the population of West Hampstead and the surrounding area.
